Money & Value (Part 1)

Matthew 20:1-15, Proverbs 18:16
Money as we all know, is extremely important to every man. No matter how spiritual you might be. Many have tried many times and many ways to make money, all to no avail. Now let's look at the mystery surrounding this money that we all want/need.
There's something that money actually runs after or rather, there's something that attracts/draws money like a magnet, and it's VALUE.
Once a man/woman can offer value, money will immediately show up. Gold has very high value; same with gems/precious stones etc. Once it's exposed, money immediately starts running after it. It's the same with anyone who can offer value.
The value can be your gift, talent, skill, knowledge, services, products and so on. Just like precious metals and stones vary in price due to their level of value, so does the value men have to offer vary in price.
One occupation can bring in higher income than another because that's the price the employers have decided the value provided to be worth. The value of a thing or occupation varies due to location, level or employer. A teacher can be considered very valuable and paid higher in a certain place, or by a certain employer. The same teacher can be considered less valuable in another place and by another employer. Value also differs due to level. As a person advances in level, he/she also increases in value and earns more.
A skill, product, or service can be considered very valuable in a certain place and by a certain person, and that same skill can also be considered less valuable in another place and by another person. An architect earns differently from an engineer, a doctor, a tailor, a comedian, a bricklayer, a waiter, a businessman etc. What makes their earnings high or low, is how valuable their services, talent, skill, knowledge or products are considered to be.
So to get money, find an area where you can offer the kind of value that will bring you the kind of money you need/want. Becoming a teacher and expecting to earn millions of naira per month is wishful thinking and not at all wise; in a way. If you want to earn that much, then build yourself so that you can offer the kind of value that will bring you that kind of money.
Another thing that increases earnings, is the amount of persons you are able to offer value to. A teacher can increase his or her earnings not only by advancing in level, but also by offering value to more persons. For example, a teacher can hold private lessons, online classes and many other of such services that can bring in more money, in addition to their monthly income. As one increases in scale, their value is able to reach more persons and in turn, bring in more money. That's why adverts and expansion is very vital to any person or business.
Because many have no value to offer, they're unable to get money. Poverty is not exactly lack of money, but lack of either value, or lack of great value. If your value is small/insignificant, so will the money it will bring you be.
