No fewer than 6 people have lost their lives, while several others sustained various degrees of injuries in a fatal accident involving a 18-seater commercial bus along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Saturday.

The crash has caused a major gridlock, leaving commuters stranded for hours as emergency responders work to clear the wreckage and rescue victims.

As of the time of filing this report, rescue operations are still ongoing, with emergency teams battling to save those trapped and manage the aftermath of the tragic incident.
