  • So yesterday I kept wondering what the problem with Jeremy was.

Their school closes by 2 pm. So by 1:30 pm, I was already at Jeremy's school to pick him up so I could take him back home. I parked in front of the school gate, just across the road.

Jeremy had once told me that his mum always left the key behind so he could pick it up and gain entrance to the house when he returned from school.

While waiting for him, a young boy waved at me and shouted.

    "Daddy Jeremy."

He was walking with two other young boys who waved at me in excitement.

I smiled and waved back. Then quickly called them.

"Have you seen Jeremy today?" I asked.

"No sir. He didn't come to school."

    "He didn't?"

    "Yes."

I thanked them and watched as they left. Well since Jeremy did not come to school, I felt probably he took a day off that day.

This morning I waited for Jeremy again. I had dressed up very early and was already set to leave the house.

When it was 6:50 am, and Jeremy didn't show up, I decided to drive to his house to pick him up.

I got to his house and horned. Then I stepped down to walk to the door.

I heard Jeremy crying from inside. His mother was seriously shouting at him.

"So if he is not taking you to school you are not going to school? Is he your father? What is wrong with you? What has he given you to eat. Will you get dressed and go to school now. Are you stup'd? Or is something wrong with you?"

    I paused.

I knew this whole thing was about me.

I couldn't knock. I didn't know what her reaction would be next if she sees me.

I heard running footsteps hitting the floor. I heard hands bagging tables. I heard Jeremy's cries and his mother shouting.

Suddenly I heard her beating him again.

"Pick your bags and go to school like other children. Go and join the bus now."

I turned back, got into my car, and drove off.

I didn't even know when a teardrop left my eyes.

    I feel hurt today.

    Really hurt.

Today started out badly for me and not until I am sure Jeremy is fine, I may not be at rest.

  • *Announcement*/ *Advice*
I had a serious case in the court of appeal today on the land matter.
The case is between my clients and some Omo onile at Ikotun/ ìgandò Lagos state
My clients won in the High court on merits but sadly today we lost on appeal.
The decision of the Court of appeal says that any Documents issued, or written or registered as Mr and Mrs XXXXX is a non - existent and non - juristic person which has no locus standing to sue for a legal action or maintain an action in the lawsuit. Thus, any form of receipt, survey plan or registered instrument in law which is written as Mr and Mrs XXXXX is invalid, null and void.
I cry today because all my effort wasted on the matter.
My advice for us please stop having any documents in term of Mr and Mrs anything. The love between couple does not extend or transcend the law.
All these Pastor and Mummy G.O on any documents or Alhaji and Alhaja anything is wrong. Professor and Dr( Mrs) anything is not acceptable as one person in law.
Please let's use my case as a case study.

What is admissible in Courts is :
Mr. ISAAC ABRAHAM and Mrs REBECCA ABRAHAM
Not Mr. & Mrs Isaac ABRAHAM.
    (A senior learned friend adviced)
    Please let's be wise.
Note, the Court is not saying that husband and wife should not own a property jointly, but the documentation must reflect both names in full..

  • We achieve more if we join our minds positively towards a common goal.

Note : No contribution is destructive until it is perceived so. In a team, the ability to allow everyone express their view makes a healthy conversation, but as a great leader, the ability to patiently take in all aspect of the conversation and drive the right decision is a skill for every good leader. #Team E. @Team E.

    THE REGRETS OF MY EX-WIFE
    Prologue
‘Why, Tina? Why have you done this to me? We’ve been married for five years. Haven’t I treated you well enough? Why did you cheat on me?’
Sean Lakeworth stood inside a villa his eyes bloodshot. He was shouting at a tall beautiful woman who stood before him in a neat uniform.
A few photos of Tina Sullivan walking into a hotel with a man were on the table before them. The man had his arm around her slender waist.
‘Have you been stalking on me, Sean?’ Tina frowned at the photos. There wasn’t a trace of guilt on her face. Instead, she looked cold and distant. ‘if that’s the case let's divorce.'

What do you think about this upcoming story. Drop u guess on what made Tina to do that to Sean.
Comments, share, react it's going to be grab ur popcorn and juice as chapter 1 is dropping soon.
