• SALVATION

    The very day I was born,
    I turned a prisoner in the camp of the devil;
    With deeds and thoughts ever torn,
    Due to the struggle between good and evil.

    Often what I would not, that I do;
    And what I would, that I do not.
    Evil always overcame good,
    And sin my taskmaster dictated every step I took.

    Suddenly one day, there shone a marvelous light,
    Which in it's wake caused darkness to take flight;
    My spirit was drawn to it like moth to flame,
    A bloody cross where redemption awaited me to lay claim.

    Without the slightest delay or hesitation,
    I **** my burdens at the foot of the cross;
    Took upon me the mark of salvation,
    And joyfully stepped across

    Ever since, I've known joy beyond comprehension,
    And peace unimaginable;
    For my past life of guilt and tension,
    Was only leading me to hell full of torments unbearable.

    Mark Zuckerberg suggested wiping everyone’s Facebook friends and making users start again to boost the platform’s relevance

    Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg once suggested erasing users' Facebook friend lists as a bold move to make the platform more relevant. This idea surfaced in a 2022 email revealed during the FTC’s major antitrust case against Meta, which aims to break up the tech giant's ownership of Instagram and WhatsApp. Despite the scrutiny, Meta argues it operates in a competitive and fast-changing digital space—not a monopoly.

    Zuckerberg took the stand on Monday as part of the ongoing trial, where several internal emails were presented as evidence. Among them was his proposal to wipe users’ social graphs—a strategy he himself called “crazy”—in an effort to revive Facebook’s cultural clout.

  • Title: Adira and the Heart of the Storm

    Years had passed since Adira first became the Keeper of the Echoes. The village had grown, but the forests around it had grown even wilder, and the ancient trees whispered more often than ever. Adira, now a young woman, had learned to communicate with the forest, guiding it to balance the fragile boundary between the realms of magic and men.

    One evening, as dusk fell and the sky pulsed with a thousand hues of gold and lavender, a strange thing happened. The forest fell silent. Not a single leaf stirred, not a breath of wind rustled the branches. The quiet was so profound, it pressed against Adira's chest.

    A low rumble shook the ground beneath her feet.

    Before she could move, the sky split with a roar, and a storm unlike any she'd seen descended upon the forest. Dark clouds, swirling like a tempest of shadows, spun violently above the trees. The air crackled with magic, and strange lights flickered within the storm. It was not just weather—it was an omen.

    Adira ran toward the heart of the disturbance, following the pulse of magic she felt beneath her skin. The storm's fury grew with each step, but she was not afraid. She had faced the unknown before.

    At the center of the storm stood a figure cloaked in shadow, their form shimmering like a silhouette made of night itself. The ground around them was scorched, the earth warped with unnatural energy.

    "I've come to claim what is mine," the shadowed figure spoke, their voice like thunder rolling through the sky.

    Adira stepped forward, her hand instinctively reaching for the vine-and-silver necklace that hung from her neck. The forest hummed in response, a soft, reassuring pulse.

    "You don't belong here," Adira said, her voice steady. "This is the realm of balance, of peace. You will ******* it."

    The figure laughed, the sound echoing like a crack of thunder.

    "I was born of chaos. The forest cannot keep me out forever. You are too late, Keeper."

    With a flick of the figure’s hand, the storm raged harder, lashing out with winds that could tear trees from their roots. Adira's eyes glowed with determination.

    “No,” she said. “I am the Keeper of Echoes. And I will protect this place.”

    The forest answered her call, its ancient power flowing through her veins. Adira raised her arms, and the vines around her swelled, twisting into forms of protection. The ground beneath her feet rumbled as the trees responded, their roots awakening, reaching deep into the earth.

    The shadowed figure faltered as the earth itself began to push back, the magic of the forest encircling them, constricting.

    "You are bound by the forest's power, just as I am," Adira said. "But I am not alone."

    The figure hissed in fury, but the storm began to recede, the winds lessening. Adira pressed forward, not with force, but with the unity of the forest’s heart. Slowly, the figure began to dissipate, its form turning to mist as the magic of the forest sealed the rift they had created.

    The storm calmed, and the sky cleared, revealing a single star that gleamed brighter than the others—a sign that the balance had been restored.

    Adira, though exhausted, smiled softly. The forest was safe for now. The echo of the wild magic pulsed beneath her feet, always there, waiting to guide her when needed.

  • This picture of young girls in grave clothes breaks my heart. These girls are people's daughters, raised with dreams and potential. Yet, they're taught to prioritize appearance and pleasing others over their own worth. We're raising girls to be objects, not thinkers, builders, or leaders. We claim to want empowerment, but often silence their voices and stifle their potential. It's time to break this cycle. Wendy Ologe's "Raising the Girl with Sense," is a call to action – a guide to raising confident, principled, and purpose-driven girls who know their worth and aren't afraid to be themselves. Let's raise torchbearers, not toys. The future is watching, and she deserves better.

  • In 1928, Nikola Tesla registered U.S. Patent No. 1,655,144 for an unconventional flying machine. He even sketched out the design for the project. Tesla aimed to create the ultimate flying vehicle, one powered by the natural energy present all around us.

    Before his death, Tesla developed detailed plans for the aircraft's propulsion system, which he referred to as the "SPACE DRIVE"—an electromagnetic propulsion system.

    Tesla's anti-gravity technology was intended to enable the creation of a revolutionary flying disk—a spacecraft that could harness electromagnetic fields to lift off from the ground and soar into the sky with incredible speed and ease.

  • THINGS THAT CAN KILL YOUR DREAM

    Fear: Fear is one of the most significant obstacles that can stop people from pursuing their dreams. Fear of failure, fear of the unknown, fear of rejection, fear of what others might think all these fears can hold you back and prevent you from taking risks or stepping out of your comfort zone.

    Lack of focus: If you don't have a clear idea of what you want to achieve, it's difficult to work towards that goal. Without a specific target in mind, you might find yourself wandering aimlessly and lacking the drive to take action.

    Negative self-talk: The way you talk to yourself can have a profound impact on your ability to pursue your dreams. If you're constantly telling yourself that you're not good enough, or that you'll never make it, you're likely to lose motivation and give up on your aspirations.

    Lack of perseverance: Achieving your dreams often requires hard work, dedication, and perseverance. If you give up too easily when faced with setbacks or obstacles, you may struggle to make progress towards your goals.

    Lack of support: Having a strong support system can make a big difference in your ability to achieve your dreams. Surrounding yourself with people who encourage and believe in you can give you the confidence and motivation to keep working towards your goals, even when things get tough.
