"Look at how skinny she is. I hope she doesn’t have HIV,” Annabel whispered to her gossip mate, Gloria, as Temidayo, the new girl, walked past their table.
Giggling softly, Gloria glanced back and smirked.
“I bet she has ****** too.”
They burst into laughter, loud enough to drown out the chatter in the classroom.

Annabel’s eyes gleamed mischievously. “I have an idea,” she said, rising from her seat.
The two girls marched confidently toward where Temidayo—who preferred to be called Temi—sat, her head buried in a book.

“Miss Skinniest Girl in the Universe, what are you reading?” Annabel mocked, slapping her palm down on the open page.
Temi flinched and pulled her book away. “Leave me alone, please,” she said quietly.

Gloria chuckled. “Why don’t you want problems? Is it because you’re so slim? Afraid one touch will break your bones?” She gave Temi a hard nudge on the shoulder.

Temi’s grip tightened on the book. Her heart raced.
“I SAID, LEAVE ME ALONE!” she screamed, swinging the book and hitting Gloria squarely in the face.

The class froze.
The scuffle that followed was short but fierce—leaving both girls with bloody noses and stunned silence in their wake.

They were punished severely. But for Temidayo, the pain ran deeper than the bruises. That day, she learned a painful truth:

Never let anyone push you to the edge where your actions are ruled by rage.
Because once anger takes the wheel, regret often rides in the backseat.

From the parable of the 10 virgins, I’ve learned two important lessons:

1. To Always Be Prepared:
The wise virgins came with extra oil because they didn’t want to be caught off guard. In real life, this means we should always plan ahead, whether it’s for opportunities, emergencies, or important moments. Being prepared saves us from regret.

2. To Take Responsibility for Your Own Life:
The foolish virgins wanted to borrow oil, but some things in life just can’t be borrowed. This reminds us that certain efforts, like personal growth, discipline, and planning can’t borrowed neither can you borrow someone else’s hard work. Some things, we must learn to do it ourselves.

At the end of the day, life rewards those who stay ready and take responsibility. Let’s all learn to stay ready and do the work now, not later.

"When did you start putting on makeup?" Chisom asked, watching her roommate struggle to apply mascara.

"Lately," Danielle replied, still focused on the mirror.

"I don't know what this is, but you have to stop it," Chisom said, getting out of bed. She slipped into her fluffy pink slippers and walked into the bathroom.

"Are you jealous of me?" Danielle shouted after her.

Chisom burst into laughter.

A few minutes later, she came out, wiping her face with a towel. Standing akimbo, she looked at her roommate, who now resembled a runaway clown.

"Why would I be jealous of you?"

"Then why are you opposing my choice of appearance?" Danielle asked, trying to fix her hair.

"You're changing yourself to fit into that flashy group you joined last week. You're trying to please them, but you're displeasing yourself. In the end, you'll only confuse yourself," Chisom said, climbing back into bed.

Danielle pouted, silently reflecting on what Chisom had just said.

Spiritual attacks are inevitable, but with discernment and prayer, we can stand victorious. Be vigilant, be quick to discern the enemy’s tactics, and be relentless in prayer. Remember, greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
The enemy’s power is no match for the authority and power you carry in Christ. Stay alert, pray with authority, and trust that God has already won the victory for you!
Not all attacks come through dreams.
for example:
When you experience sudden weariness or Fatigue: If you’re suddenly overwhelmed with exhaustion, even after a full night’s rest, it could be a spiritual attack designed to wear you down and make you vulnerable hence fire back the arrows !
Unusual Emotional Swings: Persistent feelings of anger, fear, sadness, or discouragement that don’t seem connected to any specific event can indicate spiritual interference. The enemy targets our emotions to steal our peace and joy.
Confusion and Mental Fog: Struggling to focus, remember things, or feeling confused without any clear cause may be a sign that the enemy is trying to cloud your mind.
Increased Temptation: When temptations suddenly intensify in areas you’ve previously gained victory, it may be the enemy’s attempt to pull you back into *******. fire back to sender any arrow targeting your mind.
Disruptions in Prayer Life: If you’re finding it difficult to pray, read the Word, or engage in worship, this could be a strategic attack to hinder your spiritual growth and weaken your defenses.
