Sade was always available, helping everyone. But her own to-do list? Forgotten.
Lesson: Serving others is noble—but don’t abandon yourself. #Favour #Bisi28

  • "They don't accept sh#t, but they're quick to dish it out to anyone."

Let’s talk about these "I don't take nonsense" people — the scratch my back and I'll scratch yours type. You know them. The ones who pride themselves on having zero tolerance for disrespect, and they make sure everyone knows it.

And honestly? There's nothing wrong with wanting to be treated with respect. Nobody enjoys being treated badly. That part is valid.

But here’s the issue: many people in this category have double standards. They demand respect but don’t always give it. They shout “boundaries” but trample on others'. They cry foul at the slightest shade, yet casually toss shade like it's confetti.

Bottom line: if you don’t like rubbish, don’t give it.
Treat people the way you want to be treated. It’s not that deep — it’s just life principles.

    Happy Weekend by the way.

  • Gratitude turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion into clarity... It makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow. Always be #Grateful. Good morning

  • When Ifunanya arrived her village in search of Peter (her father), her uncle (Peter's brother) called her ashawo and other unprintable names as a way of diverting the attention of people who were gathering. He said she sleeps around in hotels and was not a responsible young lady.

That hurt so much! Ifunanya is married. Why would they pour such venom on a girl looking for her father?

This is Ifunanya and her husband. The only crime this young lady committed was being bold enough to challenge her father's siblings who were bent on keeping him in a vegetative state after his stroke while they continued to draw on his pension to build another house and enjoy good lives.

This is a big lesson for men. When your wife gives birth to a daughter, do not frown. Your daughter will always be there for you, even if she is married and living in a different continent. Ifunanya left her family in the USA and travelled thousands of miles in search of her father.

Be kind to everyone, but know where to draw the line.
The male child is as important as the female child
    None outweighs the other!!

  • Putting Faith Into Practice

Faith is essentially trust, which is a pivotal part of following Jesus.

Hebrews 11:6 says, “Without faith it is impossible to please God..." And Ephesians 2:8 explains, “It is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.”

So we shouldn’t put too much faith in our own faith, but put our faith in God. Only He can create, save, and sustain. We can't know all things, but we can know Him—who knows all things. Which is why we would be wise to put our trust in Him.

But putting our faith into practice isn’t always easy. The writer of Hebrews tells us that faith begins with having confidence in the things we hope for. More than that, it is having assurance for things we cannot see.

While this sounds like a contradiction, faith actually requires us to believe in something outside of ourselves. If we could see it and measure it, it wouldn’t require faith. For instance, we read in Scripture that God created the earth and everything in it. But we weren’t there when it happened. It requires faith to believe that.

Jesus says that those who believe in Him will inherit eternal life—but that’s a promise that has yet to come. We have to have faith that Jesus will keep His promise, and that one day we will be in heaven with Him.

Faith is the assurance that what God promised will happen. It is the confidence that what Jesus said is actually true. This is why people in Scripture faithfully waited for God to fulfill His promises toward them. Most of them might not have seen that fulfillment in their lifetime, but they had faith that God would still follow through.

Take some time to consider your own faith. Is your faith filled with confident hope? Pray for God to give you the assurance that all of His promises will come true. And as you do that, learn from the stories mentioned in Hebrews 11 on what it means to put faith into practice.
