Omo, make I talk as e dey do me, I no go even lie, if na me dem treat like this, I for vex too. E hard to dey do “turn the other cheek” when person don slap you sotey your whole soul dey pain. Dem really carry this woman play, and still expect her to keep quiet? E no dey work like that. But as I reason am well, I come realize say two wrong no dey ever make right. As sweet as revenge dey feel that moment, sometimes e dey leave one kind bitterness for body later. And if you no comot that bitterness, e go just dey grow like weed. She don suffer, e clear. Wetin pain pass na say she hold this man down from nothing, yet na betrayal she get in return. Still, I go talk true: revenge no go heal that kind wound, e just dey shift the pain. Now dem dey beg her, meaning say karma don show face. She fit help or she fit waka comot, but make she choose wetin go bring her peace of mind. I can vividly remember the first time i walked in for an interview in Jos. Before then i had prepared for every question except salary requirements. When i was asked, i panicked and said "pay me anything" but then they insisted i give a figure.. i was going to say 100,000 naira but i couldnt, it seemed like a huge money.. i ended up asking for 30,000 naira because of fear of loosing the opportunity. I worked as hard as everyone else having the same Bsc just to realise later on that i was the lowest paid. But during that period i gained experience, i added value to myself and confidence boosted. This time around when i walked in for the position of a sales manager in a bubbling city like Abuja, i knew better than to let history repeat itself. I researched their pay range and negotiated higher, when the interview was over, i walked out confidently like a boss and guess what i got the job!. Kill fear with value and experience. If you loose self esteem is cause you havent gained value. Believe in yourself that you can do it and then work on yourself. Do you think negotiation skill is important in every organisation? My girlfriend invited me to her house today, we have been dating for a while now but I have never for ones visited her. But of course, she has visited me ones in a while, Today I decided to visit her. When I reached the address she told me. I have been waiting for you by the gate since. My girlfriend said. What do you mean waiting for me? I'm at your house, and you just served me food. Stop this joke ejoor. I said. Which house? She asked. House 30P. I said. 30P? I said 30B. she said, then who served me food here now? I asked.
